We're so honored and blessed to be where we're at," said 24-year-old Chris Stimac. "It's always been our dream to make it to the mainland and tour, but it's always good to get back home."With boy-down-the-street good looks, high-energy performances and charming personalities, it's no wonder preteen and teenage girls swoon when the group takes the stage. But add in a rockin' beat, with just the right amount of island flavor, easy-to-sing lyrics and talented musicianship and even an older crowd may find themselves dancing to the music.Self-described as a summer rock n' roll band -- sort of like The Killers meets the Beach Boys, according to 28-year-old Jonny Stimac -- their music hits all the right spots, from light and happy to thought-provoking and dramatic. With a passion for filmmaking and film, Jonny said the group likes to incorporate that "epicness" into all of its music, making it "as big as possible, with strings, and with orchestra added in to a lot of the songs."But their songs also come from life experiences, with a positive message incorporated into each one, and they never forget where they come from."The island feel will always shine through, even with the epic songs," he said. "That's what diversifies us. We have the epic stadium rock, but we always want to have the island roots flowing through."While excited about performing locally, Sunday's show is more than just a concert. Part of the show's proceeds will support the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research, an organization to which Jonny and Chris share a personal connection."We've always wanted to support a good cause, something that really hits home for us," Stimac said. "Our mom, who has had Parkinson's since about 2000, has been heavy on our hearts. That, and we've always been Michael J. Fox fans, and he also has Parkinson's."While Michael J. Fox won't be able to attend the concert, Chris and Jonny's mom will be there, and that's even better."When we come home and can play a show, it's her favorite thing in the world," Jonny said. "We're just so excited for everyone to see the new show, hear the new songs. It doesn't matter how many places we tour, our favorite, out of anywhere, is always home."Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door, and can be purchased atrockstarzhawaii.com. Must be 16 years or older.Fallow the link here:http://www.westhawaiitoday.com/articles/2010/11/19/features/features06.txt

Rockstarz in Kona November 21st

We are stoked to say we will be back in Hawaii middle of November for the holidays and some shows.
